Harrow continued their pre season programme with a 3-1 win at AFC Hayes. The goalscorers were Lee Hall, Zimzon Lelo and Jerome Hall with AFC Hayes scoring a late penalty.
Harrow Borough Manager David Howell was happy of the outcome of a match at AFC Hayes in which he used 19 players.
"It turned out in the end to be a comfortable 3-1 victory with 2nd half goals scored by substitutes Lee Hall, Zimzon Lelo and Jerome Hall despite AFC converting a late penalty.
"We started off a little sluggish after our high tempo and very competitive match midweek against Barnet full first team. Hopefully we will start a bit better with only the visit on Tuesday to Chesham United and Saturday to Cheshunt our last remaining away friendly matches.
"We have signed 14 players and I will be looking to sign a few more before our final pre season work out."
For Harrow that is a testing home match against Queen Park Rangers FC on Wednesday 13th August three days before the start of the season and the trip to newly promoted Dover Athletic. |
