Wayne Walters was unanimously voted the Player of The Year after winning Supporters' Player, Players' Player and Vice Presidents' Player of the Year at Saturday's End of Season awards night.
As Walters had already left for an end of season break, it was left to Dean Marney to collect the awards on his behalf. Marney is well on the road to recovery after an entire season of injury. He faces a lot of work this summer and will be assisted by the support of David Lloyd Leisure who are supplying a series of free sessions to the defender. Marney is already back cycling and using a rowing machine and is on course to be ready for pre-season training when the squad reconvene in a few weeks.
